A law firm in Fort Myers, FL, is seeking a Personal Injury Attorney with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience to handle a heavy caseload representing clients in personal injury cases. The ideal candidate will guide clients through each phase of the legal process, prepare legal documents, negotiate settlements, and manage support staff members, demonstrating excellent negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.

 

Job Duties:

  • Manage a heavy caseload representing clients in personal injury cases.
  • Guide clients through each phase of the legal process.
  • Prepare and draft legal documents on behalf of clients.
  • Negotiate settlements with opposing parties.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal standards and regulations.
  • Manage support staff members effectively.
  • Demonstrate excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Make decisions confidently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Provide effective problem-solving and consultation to resolve client concerns or questions.
  • Have a general understanding of auto accidents, slip & falls, and workers compensation claims.

 

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years minimum experience in personal injury law.
  • Active membership in good standing with the Florida Bar.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Comfortable making decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective problem-solving and consultation abilities.
  • General understanding of auto accidents, slip & falls, and workers compensation claims.

 

Education:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

 

Certifications:

Active member and in good standing with the Florida Bar.
