Job Overview

A law firm seeks an experienced Labor Law Associate Attorney in Garden City, NY. Duties

  • Manage all phases of litigation, including strategy, discovery, and trial preparation.
  • Participate in depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and court appearances.
  • Understand and apply New York Construction Law (NYS Labor Law 200, 240, 241).
  • Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and other documents.

Requirements

  • Admitted to practice law in New York State with a license in good standing.
  • 5-10 years of experience in labor law is required.
  • Strong analytical, research, and writing skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Substantive experience with New York Labor Law matters.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Licensed to practice law in New York State.
