Longwood office of our client seeks an associate attorney with 3-5 years of experience in the areas of corporate formation/governance, commercial contracts drafting and negotiation, mergers and acquisitions, or real estate transactions. The candidate will perform legal services for Firm clients, such as reviewing and revising business and real estate contracts, preparing corporate documents, drafting and supervising the preparation of closing documents, drafting both commercial and residential leases, holding client contract review and negotiation calls, and advising clients on potential transactions. Will require regular collaboration with Firm leadership and staff, clients, referral sources, and other interested parties to develop solutions and meet the required matter deadlines. Draft and finalize correspondence and legal documents such as contracts, leases, affidavits, and settlement agreements, as well as a variety of other legal documents. Organize and maintain documents and information in the Firm's electronic filing system and practice management systems. Meet with clients, attorneys, and other professionals to discuss matter details and requirements. Gather and analyze statutes, decisions, legal articles, codes, documents, and other data to assist with client strategy. Participate in Firm marketing initiatives and fulfill other outreach activities throughout the course of the year. Perform necessary billing procedures. Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Google Workspace, including Gmail, Google Calendar, and Google Drive. Must be a member of the Florida Bar. Should be licensed in Florida to practice law.

The candidate must have a dedication to excellence in communication, work performance, and professionalism. Analytical skills are necessary to conduct complex/detailed analyses of legal matters and perform legal tasks as required. Strong oral and written communication skills are needed. Should have excellent grammar and proofreading ability. Must be able to effectively prioritize and manage multiple matters, clients, and deadlines. Exceptional time management and organizational skills are needed. High levels of attention to detail, follow-through, accuracy, communication, and organization are essential.
