Family Law Attorney

Job Overview: A law firm in Salem, OR, is seeking a dedicated Family Law Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate must be a member of the Oregon State Bar and possess strong knowledge and experience in family law matters.

Duties:

• Provide legal representation to clients in family law cases, including divorce, child custody, child support, adoption, and domestic violence matters.
• Conduct legal research and analysis on family law issues.
• Draft legal documents such as petitions, motions, briefs, and agreements.
• Represent clients in court proceedings, including hearings and trials.
• Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients.

Requirements:

• Must be a member in good standing of the Oregon State Bar.
• Experience practicing family law.
• Strong knowledge of Oregon family law statutes and procedures.

• Ability to manage a caseload independently.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Oregon State Bar.
