A law firm in Roseville, CA, is seeking a Senior Attorney with 7+ years of litigation experience, particularly in real estate law. The ideal candidate will have expertise in various aspects of litigation, including complaints, answers/demurrers, depositions, discovery, motions, alternative dispute resolution, hearings, and appeals.

 

Duties:

  • Handle complaints, answers/demurrers, and other pleadings in litigation matters.
  • Conduct and defend depositions of witnesses and parties involved in legal proceedings.
  • Manage the discovery process, including drafting and responding to discovery requests.
  • Draft and argue motions before the court on behalf of clients.
  • Represent clients in alternative dispute resolution proceedings, such as mediations and arbitrations.
  • Attend hearings and court appearances to advocate for clients' interests.
  • Handle appellate matters, including drafting appellate briefs and presenting oral arguments.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the State Bar of California.
