Job Overview

A law firm seeks an associate with 3-5 years of patent prosecution experience in Boston, Massachusetts. The role involves working closely with clients and inventors throughout the patent process.

Duties

  • Collaborate with clients and inventors at all stages of the patent process.
  • Prepare, file, and prosecute patent applications in the U.S. and internationally.
  • Conduct freedom-to-operate, infringement, and patentability analyses.
  • Assist in additional responsibilities or projects as needed.

Requirements

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or related field.
  • JD from an ABA-accredited law school.
  • Admitted to or eligible for admission in Massachusetts, New York, or Washington, D.C.
  • Admitted to the USPTO.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate and work effectively in team settings.
