Duties

  • Take depositions, argue motions, and attend court hearings and mediations as required.
  • Draft motions, pleadings, briefs, discovery requests, interrogatories, and other legal correspondence and litigation documents.
  • Conduct complex legal research and analysis, drafting detailed legal memoranda.
  • Prepare status reports and client recommendations.
  • Review document collections in preparation for litigation.
  • Manage all aspects of litigation, from initial pleadings to trial.

Requirements

  • 2 to 6 years of experience in litigation, with a focus on product liability preferred.
  • Strong discovery and law and motion experience.
  • State and federal court experience.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple cases efficiently.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Education

  • J.D. from an accredited law school.
  • Strong academic credentials.

Certifications

  • Active bar membership in the state of California is required.
