A law firm in Miami is seeking a Mid-level Litigation Associate Attorney with a focus on trademark, trade secrets, and false advertising matters. The candidate will be responsible for providing trademark counseling to clients, conducting legal research, supporting both counseling and litigation efforts, and offering direct assistance to senior lawyers.

 

Duties:

  • Provide trademark counseling to clients.
  • Conduct brief or somewhat more complex legal research and draft memoranda on judicature and specific legal issues.
  • Support both counseling and litigation for trade secret, trademark, and false advertising matters.
  • Communicate with clients via telephone and email.
  • Conduct due diligence, including the analysis of agreements in data rooms and their subsequent description.
  • Provide direct assistance to senior lawyers on day-to-day legal services for international and domestic corporate clients.
  • Join educational seminars and practice groups.

 

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of relevant law firm or in-house experience.
  • Admitted to the Bar of the State.
  • Experience in trademark, trade secrets, and false advertising.
  • Excellent academic credentials.
  • Excellent research and drafting skills.
  • Outstanding communication and negotiation skills.

 

Education:

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

 

Certifications:

Admission to the Bar of the State.

 

Skills:

  • Strong legal research and drafting skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to conduct due diligence and analyze agreements.
  • Proficiency in counseling clients on trademark-related matters.
  • Experience in both counseling and litigation for trade secret, trademark, and false advertising cases.
