A law firm in Orlando is seeking a Litigating Attorney specializing in Personal Injury cases. The candidate will oversee all aspects of the Personal Injury cases, including evaluation, negotiation, and settlement. Strong negotiation and communication skills, as well as a firm understanding of Florida Personal Injury law, are essential. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in Personal Injury Litigation.

 

Duties:

  • Oversee gathering necessary documents, evidence, and information related to Personal Injury claims.
  • Prepare demand letters and negotiate settlement offers.
  • Evaluate the merits of Personal Injury cases.
  • Provide guidance and counsel to clients through effective communication.
  • Handle medical reviews and negotiate and settle cases as necessary.
  • Open new files, create litigation plans, and conduct discovery.
  • Manage a large caseload effectively.
  • Build and manage a legal team, demonstrating effective leadership skills.
  • Interact with clients during their time of need.
  • Bilingual (Spanish) skills are a plus.
  • Trial experience is a plus.

 

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of Personal Injury Litigation Attorney experience.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Firm understanding of Florida Personal Injury law.
  • Ability to handle a large caseload.
  • Effective leadership skills.
  • Bilingual (Spanish) skills are a plus.
  • Trial experience is a plus.

 

Education and Certifications:

  • Juris Doctorate (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Florida State Bar.
