Yorba Linda office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks a tax associate attorney with 2+ years of experience in handling both Federal and California tax matters and tax strategies. The candidate will represent individuals, business owners, corporations, etc. being audited by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), Franchise Tax Board (FTB), and other state taxing authorities. Will advise and counsel clients on tax-related legal issues Research and analyze legal sources such as statutes, recorded judicial decisions, legal articles, treaties, constitutions, and legal codes. Prepare legal briefs, pleadings, appeals, contracts, memos, and any other necessary legal documentation during the course of litigation. Prepare and file motions and court briefs when necessary. Oversee tax settlements. Strategize on how to resolve the client's cases in a favorable and cost-effective manner. Performs other related duties as assigned. Should preferably have experience working at the IRS, DOJ Tax, US Attorney's Office, or Clerk for Federal Judge. An LL.M. degree in Taxation is essential. Should have prior experience as a clerk for a Federal Court Judge (Tax Court or other). Must be licensed to practice law in the State of California.

The candidate must have a Bachelors Degree or higher from an accredited university. Should have a Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited university. High attention to detail, excellent follow-up, and time management skills are crucial for this position. Exceptional communication skills (oral and written) are essential.
