Job Overview

A law firm seeks an Employment Law Attorney in Oakland, CA. The ideal candidate will be passionate about advocating for employees in matters of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and whistleblower cases. This full-time position offers a hybrid work model, with three days in-office and two days remote.

Duties

  • Advocate for employees in discrimination, harassment, and retaliation cases.
  • Handle whistleblower matters with diligence and integrity.
  • Collaborate with the legal team to develop case strategies.
  • Conduct legal research and draft legal documents.

Requirements

  • Active California Bar membership in good standing.
  • 0-3 years of litigation experience, preferably in employment law.
  • Commitment to employee rights and advocacy.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • California Bar admission.

Skills

  • Strong legal research and writing abilities.
  • Excellent communication and advocacy skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
