A law firm is currently seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Mid-Level Franchise Litigation Associate Attorney in Chicago, IL.

Job Overview:

The Mid-Level Franchise Litigation Associate Attorney will be crucial in handling franchise litigation matters. The successful candidate will be responsible for effective communication with clients, lawyers, business professionals, and third parties. They will produce high-quality work products, adhere to deadlines, and engage in both physical and sedentary activities as needed.

Duties:

  • Effectively communicate, verbally and in writing, with clients, lawyers, business professionals, and third parties.
  • Produce deliverables, answer phone calls, and reply to correspondence efficiently and responsively.
  • Provide timely, accurate, and quality work products in the field of franchise litigation.
  • Successfully meet deadlines, and expectations, and perform work duties as required.
  • Foster positive work relationships within the firm and with external parties.
  • Comply with all firm policies and practices.
  • Engage in physical and sedentary activities, including working at a computer for extended periods, participating in digital/virtual conference calls, and attending meetings as needed.
  • Perform all other duties, tasks, or projects as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree.
  • Minimum of 3 years of franchise litigation experience in a law firm environment.
  • State Bar admission in Illinois.

Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Ability to produce high-quality work under tight deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
