A law firm in Los Angeles is seeking a Mid-to-Senior-Level Managed Care Litigation Associate Attorney with excellent academic credentials and expertise in managed care or health care law. The successful candidate will possess strong writing, research, analytical, and communication skills, and will be responsible for managing multiple cases and providing counsel to clients.

 

Duties:

  • Handle litigation and arbitration matters related to managed care and health care.
  • Serve as the point person on litigation and counseling matters, coordinating with other associates and staff.
  • Act as the primary client contact, providing updates and addressing concerns as needed.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis on complex issues.
  • Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and contracts.
  • Manage case files, deadlines, and court appearances.
  • Provide strategic advice and guidance to clients on regulatory and compliance matters.

 

Requirements:

  • 3-7 years of law firm or relevant in-house experience.
  • Experience in complex commercial litigation and arbitration.
  • Strong writing, research, analytical, and verbal communication skills.
  • Expertise in managed care or health care law.
  • Ability to handle multiple cases and manage regulatory or compliance matters.
  • Significant case management and client counseling experience preferred.

 

Education and Certifications:

  • JD from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Bar in the relevant jurisdiction.
