A law firm in Los Angeles is seeking a talented Mid-to-Senior-Level Managed Care Litigation Associate Attorney with exceptional academic credentials and experience in managed care or health care. The ideal candidate will possess strong writing, research, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple cases and serve as a point person on litigation and counseling matters.

 

Duties:

  • Handle multiple cases and/or manage regulatory or compliance matters.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for litigation and counseling matters.
  • Coordinate with other associates and staff.
  • Act as a client contact for ongoing matters.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
  • Participate in all aspects of litigation and arbitration proceedings.
  • Assist with case management and strategy.
  • Provide guidance on regulatory and compliance issues in the managed care or health care industry.

 

Requirements:

  • 3-7 years of law firm or relevant in-house experience in complex commercial litigation and arbitration.
  • Strong academic credentials.
  • Excellent writing, research, analytical, and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in managed care or health care.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and serve as a point person on litigation and counseling matters.
  • Significant case management and/or client counseling experience preferred.

 

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of managed care laws and regulations.
  • Experience with regulatory compliance in the health care industry.
  • Familiarity with arbitration proceedings.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

 

Education and Certifications:

  • JD from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Bar in the relevant jurisdiction.
