Corporate Associate Attorney

A law firm in Tallahassee is seeking a highly qualified Corporate Associate Attorney with 3-5 years of experience in private equity, venture capital, and joint venture transactions. The ideal candidate should possess strong drafting and organizational skills, along with excellent academic credentials. The candidate must have prior experience in an Am Law 100 law firm, hold a Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited law school, and either be admitted to the State Bar or be eligible to obtain admission promptly.

Duties:

• Drafting and reviewing legal documents related to private equity, venture capital, and joint venture transactions.
• Conducting legal research and providing analysis on complex corporate matters.
• Advising clients on legal issues and risks associated with transactions.
• Participating in due diligence processes and analyzing findings.
• Collaborating with senior attorneys on complex legal matters.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in private equity, venture capital, and joint venture transactions.
• Strong drafting and organizational skills.
• Excellent academic credentials.
• Experience in an Am Law 100 law firm.
• Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
