Duties:

  • Engage with potential clients primarily via telephone, with occasional in-person or written communication

  • Listen carefully to client concerns and identify underlying legal issues

  • Explain legal principles relevant to each potential client's situation in an understandable manner

  • Recommend strategies and solutions for addressing client concerns, including firm service offerings

  • Guide prospective clients through the process of securing legal services and assist with initial retainer agreements and payments

Requirements:

  • Active license to practice law in North Carolina (or eligibility for admission)

  • Demonstrated ability to quickly synthesize facts and apply applicable legal standards

  • Exceptional interpersonal communication skills, with an emphasis on empathy and clarity

  • Drive and enthusiasm for client interaction and business development

  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple conversations and follow-ups simultaneously

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Admission to the North Carolina State Bar in good standing

  • Proficiency with CRM systems and legal intake software (preferred but not required)

  • Time management skills for handling a high volume of inquiries
