A law firm in Cleveland, OH, is seeking an Associate Attorney with 1-3 years of civil litigation experience. The candidate will manage case files, represent the firm at various court appearances, and possess strong investigative and communication skills. Experience in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite are required.

 

Duties:

  • Manage case files and formulate the next course of action.
  • Represent the firm at pre-trials, trials, mediations, and other court appearances.
  • Create persuasive communication materials.
  • Utilize strong investigative skills to uncover facts and causes of action.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
  • Prepare and file legal documents.
  • Work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

 

Experience:

  • 1-3 years of civil litigation experience.
  • 1-2 years of experience in Creditors’ Rights or Collection fields preferred.

 

Requirements:

  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Subrogation or insurance experience is a plus.

 

Education & Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active license to practice law in Ohio.
