Job Overview: A law firm in Menlo Park, CA, is seeking a Cyber, Privacy, And Data Innovation Litigation Associate Attorney. The successful candidate will join a dynamic team and work on a robust pipeline of sophisticated, innovative, and industry-leading litigation, including class actions, across various clients in the firm's industry verticals of technology, finance, life sciences, and energy. This role offers the opportunity to assume early and significant responsibility in managing all aspects of complex disputes and litigation, working directly with clients, managing all aspects of discovery, taking and defending depositions, making court appearances, handling oral arguments at key hearings, and managing mediations.

Job Details:

  • Work on a robust pipeline of sophisticated, innovative, and industry-leading litigation, including class actions, across various clients in the firm's industry verticals of technology, finance, life sciences, and energy.
  • Manage all aspects of complex disputes and litigation, including working directly with clients, managing all aspects of discovery (with the support of the firm's industry-leading eDiscovery, Analytics, and Litigation Support team), taking and defending depositions, making court appearances, handling oral arguments at key hearings, and managing mediations.
  • Assume early and significant responsibility in managing all aspects of complex disputes and litigation.
  • Be a passionate, self-motivated, and proactive critical thinker.
  • Demonstrate exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of litigation experience.
  • Strong academic credentials.
  • Excellent legal research abilities.
  • Superb writing and oral communication skills.
  • Membership to the CA State Bar.

Education and Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Membership to the CA State Bar.
