A law firm in Orlando, FL, is seeking an Estate Planning Associate Attorney to join a team of experienced professionals. The candidate will have the opportunity to work on sophisticated estate plans, family business succession plans, large estate and trust administration, tax controversies, and estate and trust litigation. The role involves drafting complex legal documents, preparing tax returns, meeting with clients, and providing guidance on minimizing tax implications. The candidate will work collaboratively within a client-focused team to offer integrated and comprehensive services.

 

Job Details:

  • Work with a team of experienced estate planning Attorneys, gaining exposure to over 100 years of combined experience.
  • Draft complex legal documents for estate plans, family business succession plans, and more.
  • Prepare estate and gift tax returns and communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
  • Meet with clients to discuss estate planning needs, understand goals, and provide legal advice.
  • Maintain clear and regular communication with clients, updating them on the progress of estate planning matters.
  • Provide guidance on minimizing tax implications related to estate planning.
  • Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations, conducting legal research as needed.
  • Collaborate with other legal professionals, such as tax and real estate attorneys, to offer integrated services.

 

Experience:

0-5 years of experience in estate planning and estate and trust administration.

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Licensed to practice law in the state of Florida.
  • LL.M. in Taxation or coursework/experience in tax law.

 

Skills:

  • Excellent oral and written communication abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Possess excellent drafting and analytical skills with a strong academic record.
