Attorney needed for Glendale office

A law firm in Glendale is seeking an Attorney to join their team. The Attorney will provide client communication and advice, evaluate findings, develop strategies, and represent clients in litigation matters. The candidate will also be responsible for drafting legal documents, attending mediations and hearings, and maintaining client relationships.

Duties:

• Provide client communication and advice regarding litigation risks, legal rights, and obligations.
• Evaluate findings and develop strategies for case presentation
• Draft legal documents and perform legal review and analysis
• Prepare for and attend mediations and hearings
• Resolve client issues related to case hearings
• Implement best practices in handling client cases
• Prepare discovery requests and respond to discovery from opposing parties
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients
• Meet designated minimum billable time requirements
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• General Liability defense experience preferred
• Experience in General Liability defense litigation
• Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited university
• Admitted to practice law and in good standing with the State Bar of California
• Ability to be admitted in all Federal District Courts in California, if not already admitted
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
• Strong analytical and research skills with attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and produce high-quality work
• Proficiency in MS Word, Outlook, Excel, Westlaw, and time-billing software
