Duties

  • Develop and implement case-level litigation strategies for consumer collections

  • Represent clients in court proceedings across Georgia

  • Prepare pleadings, motions, and other legal documents

  • Manage dockets and litigation timelines in collaboration with internal legal teams

  • Negotiate settlements with defendants and opposing counsel

  • Handle counterclaims and escalated litigation matters

  • Monitor legal developments and educate internal staff on regulatory updates

  • Leverage legal technology for efficient case management and compliance

  • Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff for streamlined litigation processes

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience in civil litigation or creditors' rights law

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to travel to courts throughout Georgia as required

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

  • Reliable, detail-oriented, and team-focused work ethic

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications

  • Active member in good standing with the Georgia State Bar
