A law firm in Rochester, NY is seeking a Chemistry Patent Agent with 4+ years of experience in patent application drafting and prosecution. The candidate will assist in preparing and prosecuting patent applications before the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), conduct prior art searches, draft opinions on patentability, and interface with inventors and engineers. Superior writing skills, admission to practice before the USPTO, and a strong technical background in Chemistry or a related field are required.

 

Duties:

  • Prepare and prosecute patent applications before the USPTO.
