A law firm in Boca Raton is seeking a Junior to Mid-level Real Estate Associate Attorney specializing in Affordable Housing and Tax Credits. The ideal candidate must possess excellent academic credentials and strong writing, analytical, and communication skills. They should either be a member (in Good Standing) of the Florida Bar or willing to seek admission to the Florida Bar. The position requires 2-4 years of meaningful experience in real estate with a strong background in title and survey, easements, and leases.

 

Duties:

  • Provide legal counsel and support on real estate transactions related to affordable housing and tax credit projects
  • Conduct due diligence, including reviewing title and survey documents
  • Draft and negotiate contracts, leases, and other legal documents
  • Assist with closings and financing transactions
  • Analyze complex real estate issues and provide strategic advice to clients
  • Research and stay updated on laws and regulations related to affordable housing and tax credits
  • Collaborate with other attorneys and staff on real estate matters

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
  • Member (in Good Standing) of the Florida Bar or willingness to seek admission
  • 2-4 years of meaningful experience in real estate law
  • Strong background in title and survey, easements, and leases
  • Excellent academic credentials
  • Exceptional writing, analytical, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

 

Education:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

 

Certifications:

Membership (in Good Standing) of the Florida Bar or willingness to seek admission
