Associate Attorney needed for Coral Gables office

A law firm in Coral Gables, FL, is seeking an Associate Attorney to work in its Insurance Litigation/Insurance Coverage Department. The candidate will be responsible for reviewing claim files, analyzing case strategy, attending court hearings and depositions, preparing litigation pleadings, conducting strategic discovery, negotiating settlements, and providing tactical feedback to clients.

Duties:

• Work in the Insurance Litigation/Insurance Coverage Department.
• Review claim files and analyze case strategy, preparing strategy reports.
• Attend court hearings and depositions as required.
• Prepare litigation pleadings, conduct strategic discovery, and engage in motion practice.
• Negotiate favorable settlements for clients.
• Provide tactical feedback to clients in a responsive manner.

Requirements:

• Experience in Insurance Litigation/Insurance Coverage preferred.
• Admitted to practice in the State of Florida.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong research, communication, and writing skills.

Education/Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to practice in the State of Florida.
