Commercial Litigation Associate

Location:

Duties:

• Represent businesses in complex commercial litigation, including contract disputes and business torts

• Handle supply chain and other corporate litigation matters

• Draft pleadings, motions, and briefs

• Manage discovery, including taking and defending depositions

• Participate in trial preparation and serve as second chair at trial

• Develop and execute litigation strategies in collaboration with partners and clients

• Participate in pretrial and post-trial motion practice

Requirements:

• 4 to 7 years of commercial litigation experience

• Background in handling complex business disputes

• Experience with discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation

• Strong understanding of litigation procedure and strategy

• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship

• Admission to the Michigan Bar

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Licensed and in good standing with the Michigan Bar
