Duties

• Manage all phases of commercial litigation, including pleadings, discovery, and trial preparation

• Draft legal documents including complaints, motions, and briefs

• Conduct depositions, argue motions, and participate in hearings

• Perform legal research and analysis to support litigation strategies

• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel

• Collaborate with partners and other team members to ensure client goals are achieved

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of commercial litigation experience

• Proven track record in managing complex litigation cases

• Comfortable with legal technology and open to learning new software

• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and respond promptly to client and team needs

• Strong organizational and case management capabilities

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school

Certifications

• Active member of the Michigan State Bar (in good standing)
