Job Title: Family Law Attorney

Job Overview:

Duties:

  • Handle all aspects of divorce and family law matters, including custody, support, and equitable distribution

  • Represent clients in mediations, court hearings, and trials across Southeastern Pennsylvania

  • Develop case strategies and advocate aggressively in clients' best interests

  • Maintain frequent communication with clients to manage expectations and explain legal options

  • Collaborate closely with internal teams, including paralegals and administrative staff

  • Stay updated on relevant laws, procedures, and policy developments

  • Manage deadlines, filings, and documentation with precision

  • Use practice management software and participate in firm-wide systems training

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2-3 years of dedicated experience in family law litigation (preference for 5+ years)

  • Active license to practice law in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania

  • No history of disciplinary issues with the bar

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team

  • Comfortable handling sensitive client issues with professionalism and empathy

  • Reliable access to transportation for court appearances throughout Southeastern PA

  • Suitable home office setup for remote work, including high-speed internet

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Admission to the Pennsylvania Bar (in good standing)

Skills:

  • Excellent oral and written advocacy skills

  • Proficiency in legal research and case preparation

  • High emotional intelligence when working with clients facing personal and legal stress

  • Familiarity with legal software platforms such as Clio or similar tools

  • Strong organizational and time management abilities

  • Ability to adapt quickly to technology-driven workflows and remote collaboration
