A law firm in Springfield is seeking a Corporate Associate Attorney to work with the Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) and Real Estate practice groups. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, organizational abilities, and a willingness to learn new legal topics as needed.

 

Duties:

  • Work with the Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) and Real Estate practice groups.
  • Collaborate effectively with large working groups as part of a transaction team.
  • Maintain professional and collaborative relationships with partners, associates, and support staff.
  • Manage multiple matters and tasks simultaneously, completing them efficiently, effectively, and in a timely manner.
  • Draft and negotiate a wide variety of transaction documents.
  • Develop expertise in M&A transactions and general corporate matters.
  • Assist with acquisitions, dispositions, and leasing of real estate financing, if needed.

 

Requirements:

  • Law Degree (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school.
  • 0-3 years of prior law firm transactional experience.
  • Must be and remain licensed to practice law and in good standing in the State of Missouri.
  • Demonstrated interest in M&A and general corporate practice.
  • Knowledge of finance and tax is a plus.
  • Background or interest in real estate transactions is a plus.
