Cyber, Privacy, And Data Innovation Litigation Associate Attorney

Job Overview: A law firm based in New York City, NY, is seeking a passionate and self-motivated Cyber, Privacy, And Data Innovation Litigation Associate Attorney with 3-5 years of experience to join its team. The successful candidate will work on a robust pipeline of sophisticated litigation, including class actions, across various industry verticals, including technology, finance, life sciences, and energy. This role offers the opportunity to assume early and significant responsibility in managing complex disputes and litigation, including direct client interaction and involvement in all stages of litigation.

Responsibilities:

• Work on diverse, sophisticated litigation matters, including class actions, across technology, finance, life sciences, and energy sectors.
• Manage all aspects of complex disputes and litigation, including client communication, discovery management (with support from the firm's eDiscovery, Analytics, and Litigation Support team), deposition preparation and defense, court appearances, oral arguments, mediations, etc.
• Conduct legal research and draft legal documents, including motions, briefs, and other pleadings.
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues and clients to develop case strategies and execute litigation plans.
• Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends related to cyber, privacy, and data innovation litigation.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of litigation experience, preferably focusing on cyber, privacy, and data innovation.
• Membership to the New York State Bar.
• Strong academic credentials from a reputable law school.
• Excellent legal research skills and ability to analyze complex legal issues.
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
• Proactive and critical thinker who can work independently and as part of a team.
• Outstanding interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain client relationships.

Education and Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
