A law firm in Seattle, WA, is seeking a Real Estate and Land Use Associate Attorney with 4+ years of experience to support litigation matters within the firm's real estate and land use practice group. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience litigating a variety of real estate and land use matters, including boundary disputes, contractor disputes, liens, covenant enforcement, condominium, cooperative and homeowners' association disputes, and appearing before regulatory and administrative bodies regarding issues that arise in the use of real property and development of private and public projects.

 

Duties:

  • Litigate a variety of real estate and land use matters, including boundary disputes (quiet title and adverse possession), contractor disputes, liens, covenant enforcement, condominium, cooperative and homeowners' association disputes.
  • Represent clients before regulatory and administrative bodies regarding issues related to the use of real property and development of private and public projects.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis on real estate and land use issues.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
  • Participate in settlement negotiations and alternative dispute resolution processes.
  • Collaborate with partners and other attorneys on case strategy and client matters.
  • Manage caseload and deadlines effectively.
  • Maintain communication with clients and provide regular updates on case progress.

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Washington State Bar.
  • 4+ years of experience in real estate and land use litigation.
  • Extensive experience litigating various real estate and land use matters.
  • Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Experience appearing before regulatory and administrative bodies.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.

 

Education:

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

 

Certifications:

Admission to the Washington State Bar.
