This opportunity is ideal for a driven legal professional with experience in regulatory compliance, environmental litigation, and transactional matters. Duties:

  • Provide legal support in matters related to environmental regulations, permitting, and compliance.

  • Advise clients on federal, state, and local environmental laws, including regulatory developments.

  • Handle transactional due diligence involving environmental liabilities and risk management.

  • Represent clients in administrative proceedings and litigation involving environmental issues.

  • Collaborate with colleagues across practice areas to address complex, multidisciplinary matters.

  • Conduct legal research and draft memoranda, pleadings, motions, and related legal documents.

  • Participate in negotiations with regulatory agencies and opposing counsel.

Requirements:

  • 2-6 years of hands-on experience in environmental law, including regulatory, transactional, and/or litigation aspects.

  • Proven ability to manage client matters independently and in collaboration with a legal team.

  • Demonstrated commitment to professional development and legal excellence.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited U.S. law school.

  • Academic ranking in the top 25% of the graduating class is preferred.

Certifications:

  • Active and in good standing with a state bar, with the ability to gain admission in Texas if not already licensed.

  • Excellent legal research and analytical abilities.

  • Strong writing and verbal communication skills.
