A law firm in Lakewood, CO is seeking a Pre-Litigation Personal Injury Attorney. The successful candidate will evaluate potential personal injury claims, oversee case files, and manage a team while demonstrating strong negotiation and communication skills.

 

Job Duties:

  • Evaluate potential personal injury claims and provide legal advice to prospective clients
  • Review, modify, and draft various legal documents including motions, demand letters, pleadings, and memorandums
  • Gather information by communicating with clients, expert witnesses, insurance adjusters, and medical providers
  • Negotiate suitable agreements and settlements on behalf of clients
  • Oversee personal injury case files from beginning to end
  • Manage a team of personal injury paralegals, legal assistants, and other support staff
  • Conduct research on case law, premises liability, and gather relevant evidence
  • Maintain updated documentation of all case files in the case management system

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
  • Admission to the Bar in Colorado
  • Proven experience in pre-litigation procedures and case management
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills
  • Spanish language proficiency is a plus

 

Education and Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
  • Admission to the Bar in Colorado
