Commercial Litigation Attorney

A law firm located in Mountain View is seeking an experienced Commercial Litigation Attorney with a minimum of 6 years of litigation experience. The ideal candidate will have substantial litigation and/or trial experience, possess strong legal writing skills, and demonstrate a proactive approach to their work. They should have a keen business sense, excellent communication skills, and the ability to effectively manage relationships with clients and counsel. The candidate must excel in analytical thinking, problem-solving, and issue resolution, while also demonstrating a commitment to teamwork and client service.

Duties:

• Handle a variety of commercial litigation matters from inception to resolution.
• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
• Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials.
• Manage and negotiate settlements, when appropriate.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external parties on complex litigation cases.
• Provide strategic legal advice and guidance to clients.
• Maintain organized case files and documentation.
• Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and legal trends in commercial litigation.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the California State Bar or ability to waive in.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in commercial litigation.
• Substantial litigation and/or trial experience preferred.
• Strong legal writing skills with attention to detail.
• Proactive approach to managing cases and clients.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple files and competing deadlines.
• Analytical, problem-solving, and issue resolution abilities.
• Demonstrated commitment to teamwork and client service.

Education and Certifications:
