Job Overview:
A respected law firm based in Albany, GA, is seeking a detail-oriented Pre-Suit Litigation Attorney through a legal recruiting agency. This role involves managing pre-litigation personal injury cases from intake through settlement negotiations. The ideal candidate will be an effective communicator, highly organized, and motivated to advocate for injured clients through strategic negotiation and case management.

Duties:

  • Negotiate personal injury claims directly with insurance carriers

  • Manage a full docket of pre-suit cases from intake through resolution

  • Supervise and collaborate with a dedicated legal assistant

  • Maintain proactive and empathetic client communication

  • Initiate and maintain new client files, ensuring proper follow-up

  • Conduct in-depth investigations and document relevant findings

  • Confirm insurance coverage and analyze liability factors

  • Oversee and monitor clients’ medical treatment and related communications

  • Schedule appointments and explain procedures to clients

  • Regularly review and organize medical records and case files for demand drafting

  • Ensure case files are consistently updated and ready for negotiation phases

Requirements:

  • Admitted and in good standing with the Florida Bar

  • Proven ability to manage time and workload independently

  • Strong interpersonal skills, especially with clients experiencing trauma

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

  • High attention to detail and accuracy

  • Dedication to securing favorable client outcomes

  • Bilingual abilities are considered an asset

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Active Florida Bar License (required)
