A law firm in Westerville, OH, is seeking an Associate Attorney to join its team. The Associate Attorney will maintain a caseload of personal injury clients, providing legal advice, guidance, and representation throughout the legal process. This role involves meeting with clients, communicating with opposing counsel and other parties, investigating claims, drafting demands, and negotiating settlements. The ideal candidate will have a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school, admission to the State Bar Association, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a strong work ethic, and compassion for clients.

 

Duties:

  • Maintain a caseload of personal injury clients.
  • Meet with clients to provide legal advice and guidance.
  • Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties involved in the legal process.
  • Investigate claims and gather evidence to support clients' cases.
  • Request documentation relevant to clients' claims.
  • Draft demands and negotiate settlements on behalf of clients.
  • Represent clients in negotiations, mediation, and other legal proceedings.

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the State Bar Association.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong work ethic and dedication to client advocacy.
  • Compassion for clients and their legal needs.
