Duties:

  • Communicate effectively with clients to understand their estate planning and probate needs.
  • Draft and review various estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and healthcare directives.
  • Conduct thorough research on legal issues related to estate planning, including tax implications.
  • Represent clients in probate proceedings, including court appearances and negotiations with opposing parties.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client files and documentation.
  • Provide guidance and advice to clients on matters related to estate administration and asset distribution.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the state bar of Wisconsin.
  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience practicing estate planning and probate law.
