Job Overview:
A prestigious law firm is seeking an experienced Securities Attorney with over 6 years of experience in managing structured securities offerings for their Investment Funds Group. This professional track (non-partnership track) position requires expertise in commercial real estate law, particularly in real estate finance, acquisitions, and dispositions. The attorney will represent various public and private real estate companies, REITs, and institutional investors across a wide range of transactions. The position is open to candidates who can work from any of the firm’s U.S. offices, offering flexibility and significant growth opportunities.

Location:

  • Baltimore, MD

Duties:

  • Manage and oversee structured securities offerings for real estate transactions.
  • Provide legal counsel on real estate finance, acquisitions, dispositions, and complex restructurings.
  • Represent clients in transactions involving acquisitions, financings, and commercial real estate development.
  • Draft, negotiate, and review legal documents related to real estate transactions.
  • Conduct in-depth legal research and offer innovative solutions to complex legal issues.
  • Collaborate effectively with clients, internal teams, and external stakeholders to drive successful outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience managing structured securities offerings.
  • Strong background in commercial real estate law, especially in real estate finance, acquisitions, and dispositions.
  • Experience with AmLaw 100 law firms is preferred.
  • Proven ability to manage complex transactions and provide strategic legal guidance.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admitted to practice in the jurisdiction where the position is located.
