Job Title: Employment Associate Attorney

Job Overview:
A respected law firm located in Somerville, NJ, focused on plaintiff-side employment litigation, is seeking a driven and passionate Associate Attorney to join its legal team. Duties:

  • Collaborate with legal team members on case strategy and trial preparation

  • Maintain clear and timely communication with clients regarding case status

  • Support negotiation and resolution of severance and settlement agreements

Requirements:

  • 0-5 years of experience practicing law, preferably with exposure to employment litigation

  • Demonstrated interest in advocating for employee rights

  • Exceptional research and persuasive writing abilities

  • Ability to manage deadlines in a high-volume litigation setting

  • Willingness to engage in all stages of case development and litigation

  • Admitted to practice law in New Jersey

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Active and good standing membership with the New Jersey State Bar

Skills:

  • Strong legal writing and analytical reasoning

  • Effective verbal communication and courtroom presentation

  • Attention to detail and a proactive work ethic

  • Familiarity with case management systems and litigation tools
