  • Address issues related to restrictive covenants, ensuring compliance with legal standards and protecting the interests of the firm's clients.
  • Manage labor-related matters, including negotiations, disputes, and collective bargaining agreements.
  • Investigate and respond to employment discrimination claims, taking appropriate legal action when necessary.
  • Draft and review legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and court pleadings.
  • Stay updated on changes in employment laws and regulations to ensure compliance and provide proactive legal advice.


  • At least 3 years of experience as an attorney, focusing on employment law counseling or litigation.
  • Proven experience providing legal counsel on personnel matters, employment litigation, restrictive covenants, labor issues, and employment discrimination.
  • A proactive, detail-oriented, and organized approach to work.
  • Excellent academic credentials and strong legal writing skills.
  • Admission to the State Bar and eligibility to practice law in Iowa.


  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.


  • Admission to the State Bar in Iowa.


  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a legal team.
  • Proficiency in legal research and writing.
