Job Overview:
A dynamic law firm is seeking a skilled Labor & Employment Litigation Associate to join its expanding team in Denver, Colorado. This role is ideal for attorneys with 3–4 years of experience handling employment-related counseling and litigation. The position offers a mix of hands-on case management, mentorship, and a collaborative work culture with individualized paths to career advancement.

Location:

  • Denver, Colorado

Duties:

  • Represent clients in employment litigation matters involving Title VII, FMLA, ADA, FLSA, and corresponding state laws

  • Provide strategic advice and counsel to employers regarding workplace issues and compliance

  • Manage discovery, motion practice, and day-to-day case progress in state and federal courts

  • Handle matters before the EEOC and other federal/state administrative agencies

  • Draft legal pleadings, correspondence, and memoranda with minimal supervision

  • Collaborate with partners and clients to develop case strategies

  • Participate in depositions, hearings, and settlement negotiations

Requirements:

  • 3–4 years of experience in labor and employment law

  • Experience handling litigation in both Federal and State Court

  • Familiarity with EEOC and administrative agency procedures

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently while managing multiple deadlines

  • Adaptability and willingness to take initiative in a fast-paced environment

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Active license with the Colorado State Bar (required)

  • Admission to the California Bar is a plus

Skills:

  • Excellent legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills

  • Strong understanding of federal and state employment laws
