Job Overview:
A prominent law firm is seeking a full-time Associate Attorney with a focus on Labor & Employment law to join its Boston-area office. This role presents an opportunity to work on a broad array of complex civil litigation matters for sophisticated clients. The ideal candidate will bring a combination of strong litigation skills, intellectual curiosity, and a collaborative mindset to a dynamic national legal practice. The position offers a hybrid work schedule, early responsibility, and access to mentorship and development programs.

Location:

  • Boston, Massachusetts

Duties:

  • Handle labor & employment litigation and other civil litigation matters

  • Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and memoranda

  • Participate in all phases of litigation including discovery, depositions, and trial preparation

  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and clients on case strategy and legal arguments

  • Communicate effectively with clients and team members

  • Manage caseload responsibilities commensurate with experience

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of legal experience

  • Labor and employment litigation experience preferred; civil litigation experience also considered

  • Licensed to practice law and in good standing in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts

  • Demonstrated ability to assume responsibility for complex matters

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Active license to practice law in Massachusetts (required)

Skills:

  • Excellent writing, research, and analytical abilities

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Self-motivated with a team-oriented attitude

  • Ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines effectively

  • Interest in contributing to a busy, collaborative, and nationally recognized practice
