Employment Associate Attorney

A law firm in Chicago, IL, is seeking an Employment Associate Attorney with experience in employment advice and litigation. The Employment Associate Attorney will provide legal advice and representation in various employment law matters, including wage and hour disputes, discrimination cases, and non-compete/trade secret matters.

Duties:

• Provide legal counsel and representation in employment law matters
• Handle cases involving wage and hour disputes, discrimination, and non-compete/trade secret issues
• Conduct legal research and analysis
• Draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and briefs
• Represent clients in court hearings, arbitrations, and mediations
• Offer guidance and advice to clients on employment-related matters
• Assist with client consultations and case management

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
• Admitted to practice law in the jurisdiction
• 2-4 years of experience in employment advice and litigation
• Experience in wage and hour disputes, discrimination cases, and non-compete/trade secret matters
• Strong writing and analytical skills
• Excellent academic background
