A law firm is seeking an experienced Real Estate Shareholder/Partner with a proven track record in drafting and negotiating complex retail/shopping center leases, purchase and sale agreements, and other real estate documents. The ideal candidate will provide strategic counsel to clients in leasing, acquisition, and real estate litigation matters, demonstrating exceptional legal and client management skills. The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines is crucial for success in this role.

Duties:

  • Drafting and negotiating complex retail/shopping center leases.
  • Drafting and negotiating complex purchase and sale agreements for retail and other real estate transactions.
  • Drafting intricate real estate documents, including easements and restrictive covenants.
  • Advising clients on strategic approaches to leasing, acquisition, and real estate litigation matters.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in real estate law.
  • Well-developed legal and client management skills.
  • Excellent drafting skills with attention to detail.
  • A portable business is a requirement.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the State Bar of Texas.

Skills:

  • In-depth knowledge and experience in drafting and negotiating complex real estate agreements.
  • Strong understanding of retail and shopping center leases.
  • Ability to provide strategic counsel on real estate matters.
  • Exceptional client management and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in working within a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective time management to meet deadlines.
