First Party Property Associate Attorney

A law firm in Fort Lauderdale, FL is seeking a First Party Property Associate Attorney with 2-4 years of experience. The candidate must be admitted to the Florida Bar and will be responsible for various legal tasks including discovery, drafting pleadings, attending court hearings, taking and defending depositions, and conducting motion research and writing. Bilingual proficiency is a plus.

Duties:

• Serve in discovery processes, including drafting and responding to discovery requests.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents related to first-party property cases.
• Attend court hearings and represent clients in legal proceedings.
• Take and defend depositions of witnesses and parties.
• Conduct legal research and writing for motion practice and case strategy.

Requirements:

• Admission to the Florida Bar.
• 2-4 years of experience in first-party property law.
• Bilingual proficiency is a plus.

Education and Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Florida Bar.
