Litigation Associate Attorney

A law firm seeks a Litigation Associate Attorney to join a dynamic Phoenix, AZ team representing clients in a variety of civil disputes, including real estate, employment, consumer, and commercial matters in state and federal courts as well as administrative forums.

Duties

• Lead all phases of civil litigation, from pre-suit demands through trial and appeal

• Draft and file pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and case-management documents

• Conduct detailed legal research and factual analysis to support strategy development

• Prepare for and take depositions, hearings, and trials

• Collaborate with colleagues on case strategy and client counseling

• Manage a docket of active matters, ensuring timely responses and deadline compliance

Requirements

• Minimum of three years’ civil litigation experience

• Proven ability to juggle multiple files and meet critical deadlines

• Strong analytical aptitude and creative problem-solving skills

• Excellent written advocacy and oral presentation abilities

• Demonstrated teamwork and interpersonal effectiveness

• Active membership in good standing with the State Bar of Arizona

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Admission to practice before the Arizona state courts

• (Optional) Admission to the U.S. District Court for the District of Arizona
