Senior Associate - Aviation Liability

Job Overview

A law firm seeks a litigation attorney with over five years of experience to join its aviation, aerospace, automotive, and product litigation and regulatory practice in Phoenix. The ideal candidate will be a proactive litigator with strong writing skills, capable of independently managing cases through discovery and trial. The role involves representing a diverse client base, including airlines, airports, and manufacturers, with a focus on aviation and product liability.

Duties

• Take depositions, argue motions, and attend court hearings and mediations.
• Draft motions, pleadings, briefs, and other legal documents.
• Conduct complex legal research and draft memoranda.
• Prepare status reports and recommendations for clients.
• Review document collections for litigation preparation.
• Manage all aspects of litigation from initial pleadings through trial.

Requirements

• Experience in aviation, products liability, and automotive warranty preferred.
• JD from a reputable law school with strong academic credentials.
• Experience with California Lemon Law and related acts.
• State and federal court experience.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice in California and/or Arizona.
