A law firm seeks a Trial Attorney with a minimum of ten years’ experience securing plaintiff verdicts in auto, premises liability, and construction-accident matters to join its Forest Hills, NY office on a partnership-track basis.

Duties

  • Lead all phases of litigation, from initial case evaluation through jury verdict

  • Develop trial strategies, prepare witness examinations, and draft motions and trial briefs

  • Manage discovery, including depositions of expert and fact witnesses

  • Collaborate with investigators, experts, and support staff to build compelling case presentations

  • Negotiate settlements when appropriate while preserving trial readiness

  • Mentor junior attorneys and participate in firm-wide training and case-review sessions

Requirements

  • At least 10 years of plaintiff’s personal-injury trial experience, including construction, auto, and fall-down cases

  • Proven record of verifiable verdicts in high-stakes matters

  • Deep familiarity with New York trial practice and court procedures

  • Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage a heavy trial docket

  • Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to teamwork in a collegial environment

Education

  • Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school

Certifications

  • Active membership in the New York State Bar
