This role involves direct client interaction, negotiations, litigation strategy, and collaboration with a supportive legal team.

Duties

  • Investigate case facts and gather evidence to support damage claims

  • Negotiate settlements, including lien resolution, as appropriate

  • Maintain regular and positive communication with clients, insurance representatives, opposing counsel, and court personnel

  • Supervise legal support staff to ensure efficiency and accuracy in case handling

  • Collaborate with internal teams to meet firm objectives and client expectations

Requirements

  • 2–5 years of experience in personal injury law (plaintiff or defense)

  • Admitted to practice law in the State of Ohio

  • Familiarity with claims handling or insurance defense is highly advantageous

  • Ability to manage a large and active docket with minimal supervision

  • Demonstrated success in high-pressure, client-focused environments

Education

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications

  • Active and in good standing with the Ohio State Bar

Skills

  • Strong negotiation and litigation skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office

  • Experience with Needles case management software is a plus
