The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting healthcare clients with their transactional needs, specializing in the acquisitions of physician and dental practices, and representing behavioral health providers.

Duties

  • Lead and manage mergers and acquisitions transactions, providing legal expertise and guidance to healthcare clients, with a focus on private equity funds and/or healthcare providers.
  • Conduct due diligence, draft agreements, and negotiate terms to ensure successful and legally sound transactions.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate smooth and efficient transaction processes.
  • Stay updated on industry regulations and trends related to healthcare, private equity, and mergers and acquisitions.

Requirements

  • 6 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions transactions, demonstrating a strong track record of success.
  • Proven experience working with private equity funds and/or healthcare providers.
  • Additional experience or a keen interest in behavioral health is a definite plus.
  • High level of academic achievement from a reputable law school.
  • Previous law firm experience is essential.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Active membership in the Florida State Bar or eligibility for prompt admission.
  • Additional certifications related to mergers and acquisitions or healthcare law are advantageous.
