Litigation Associate Attorney

A law firm in Louisville, KY, is seeking a highly qualified Litigation Associate Attorney. The ideal candidate should have 2-3 years of business and commercial litigation experience, possess a strong academic record, and demonstrate excellent research and writing skills.

Duties:

• Provide legal counsel and representation to clients in business and commercial litigation cases.
• Conduct comprehensive legal research, analysis, and case preparation to support client needs.
• Draft, review, and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Represent clients in court, including attending hearings, mediations, and trials.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and clients to develop litigation strategies and objectives.
• Maintain organized case files, records, and documentation for effective case management.
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations in litigation matters.
• Keep clients informed about case developments and progress.

Requirements:

• 2-3 years of business and commercial litigation experience.
• Strong academic record.
• Excellent research and writing skills.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• State bar admission in Kentucky.
